THE STORE COTTAGE  This charming four-season cottage is located steps from beautiful Norcan Lake. The name of the "Store" came from its original function as a local store in the mid 1900's. After a fire the property was rebuilt into a family dwelling. The huge screened-in porch and a side deck face directly onto the lake. Part of the charm of this cottage is the small private deck off the second bedroom. The two-bedroom open-plan cottage has a lovely blend of modern amenities, antiques and custom built furniture. The large kitchen and dining area open into the living room which has an electric fireplace. The master bedroom on the main floor has a queen-size bed and there are four twin-size beds on the lower level, which has a walk out to the newly rebuilt private side deck. The Store was beautifully renovated in the spring of 2009, with the addition of a second bathroom and new thermal windows. It was also freshly painted. A satellite TV, DVD player and VCR are provided. A library of movies is available for our guests to borrow or bring your own. The entire resort area is an internet hot spot so bring your laptop, cellphone and PDA if you wish to keep in touch (but we recommend turning them off to enjoy your hard earned vacation!). Ample docking space is available for your boats or we have boats to rent. The Store Cottage comes fully equipped with all your cooking needs, including a full-size fridge and stove, microwave, pots, pans, coffee maker, dishwasher and utensils. The bed linen is supplied. Please bring your own personal towels.
