We have two new subdivisions presently in their final stages of development. With cautious optimism we feel they will come on line in early summer of 2009.
The first is Phase 1 of our 1,000 acre Conservation Development. Phase 1 will consist of 28 woodland lots all with registered waterfront access to Norcan Lake. The purchase of one of these lots also buys a full share of the "common area" property that will eventually encompass over 800 acres. On these 800 acres will be constructed hiking trails, cross country ski trails, look-outs, photography sites and whatever other amenities the owners decide. A Draft Plan of Phase 1 is available in PDF format (view Conservation Development Plan).
Our second development in the works is the subdivision of our 43 acre Canonto Lodge property. Canonto Lodge will be divided into 13 lots. All of the lots are either waterfront properties or have access to Norcan Lake via a large common area. 5 of the lots already have cottages or homes on them. The existing cottages will either be sold as separate freehold properties or will be sold as fractional ownership units. The remaining 8 lots will be sold as vacant waterfront access lots or will have cottages constructed on them for sale as freehold or fractional ownership properties. A Draft Plan of the Canonto Lodge property is available in PDF format (view Canonto Lodge Plan). The private open space is common area property for those who do not purchase freehold properties.
