Madawaska Nordic Ski Club

This is a partnership between volunteer ski enthusiasts and the Township of Greater Madawaska. The Ski Club maintains 10 km of classical trails at the Peaks Village. The trails are well marked and colour coded for level of difficulty. The trails, which were at one time old logging roads, wind their way through forest landscapes with lots of gentle ups and downs. |

Barnet Park, Calabogie
Barnet Park was bequeathed to Greater Madawaska Township by lumber baron Tommy Barnet. This lakefront park provides an astounding property for visitors and residents wanting to enjoy Calabogie Lake. You will find sand volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, a picnic area, a sandy beach, the Artists' Inspiration Point, public restrooms, a boat launch and a beautiful panoramic view.

Heritage Point, Tourist Information
This 100 year old building was moved piece by piece from a heritage farm and now serves as our local Tourist Information Centre. Located on the lakeshore, in the village of Calabogie, on Highway 511 (Lanark Road), the location provides a boat launch, washroom and a picnic area. |
