Hilltop Vacation Properties is located on beautiful Norcan Lake in southern Ontario, in the Calabogie, Ottawa area, an hour and fifteen minutes to the southwest of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The projects are all located on lands originally owned by Mr. M. J. O'Brien, a fabulously wealthy man in his day. Mr. O'Brien, among other things, founded the nearby town of Renfrew and interestingly enough and as an integral part of Canadian history, with his son Ambrose, laid the foundation for the establishment of the NHL (National Hockey League) in 1917.

The various predominantly waterfront developments are located on the northwest side of Norcan Lake, just outside of Calabogie, Ontario on roughly 1,400 acres of land, only 15 minutes from the local ski hill and golf course. The community is loaded with recreational activities year round, including golfing, swimming, fishing, canoeing, hiking and boating in the summer and downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, outdoor-skating and snow mobiling in the winter.
